Rolph Named WAC Field Athlete of the Week

Sophomore recognized after turning in conference-leading performance in Albuquerque
Jennifer Rolph has been selected as the Western Athletic Conference women's field Athlete of the Week for March 30-April 5, as announced by the conference office.
This is the first honor for Rolph during the outdoor season. The sophomore was the WAC women's field Athlete of the Week Feb. 9-15 during the 2015 indoor season.
Rolph cleared the bar at a conference-best height of 3.85 meters en route to taking home first in the pole vault at the Don Kirby Tailwind Invitational over the weekend in Albuquerque. Rolph is coming off an indoor season in which she won the pole vault competition at the WAC Indoor Championships.
The Lopes will compete locally this Friday when they participate in the Mesa Classic. The meet will be held at Mesa Community College and fans can find more information at www.gculopes.com.
