Tom Puetz joined the tennis staff in the fall of 2015 and will serve his first season with the Lopes as a graduate assistant coach.Â
Before joining GCU, Puetz spent the 2013-14 season assisting the coaching staff at UAB, his alma mater, while completing his bachelor's degree in general management in April 2014. He previously completed his four years of competition for the Blazers a year earlier.Â
A native of Usingen, Germany, Puetz is a certified coaching professional by the German Tennis Association. His brother, Tim, played for Auburn and is now a professional tennis player.Â
