Carlo Mosnia enters his first season at GCU. Mosnia joined Grand Canyon at the end of 2017, serving as the men’s soccer Director of Operations Graduate Assistant. Mosnia handles the day-to-day operations of the men’s soccer program that entails coordinating travel arrangements, team meals and hotel accommodations.
Mosnia was a 2012 TASCO Boys Soccer All-State goalkeeper during his senior year of high school. He also earned the 2012 Excellence in Life Award for succeeding in the classroom as well as athletically. Mosnia graduated from high school in 2013 and went on to attend the University of Mary-Hardin Baylor before transferring to Eastern Illinois University in 2014.
While at EIU, Mosnia played football for two years. He started on kickoffs during the 2015 season. Whenever time allowed, he also trained with the men’s soccer team. Mosnia made the Dean’s List in Spring of 2015, Fall of 2015, and Spring of 2016. Carlo was honored with the 2016 Promising Business Scholar award, the 2016 OVC Medal of Honor, and the 2017 Senior Merit Management Award. He graduated from EIU with a 3.84 GPA and with a degree in Business Management.
Mosnia is now pursuing a Master’s Degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in sports business.
Mosnia previously worked as a coaching assistant for the Belton Tiger Soccer Camp over the past four years.
Prior to attending GCU, Mosnia worked the GCU Residential Soccer Camp as a goalkeeper coach in 2017.
