Why did you chose GCU? I was extremely unsure of what school I wanted to go to until I toured the campus and fell in love with the atmosphere. I just knew it was the right place for me.
Favorite part of being a Lope? My favorite part is being able to call GCU my home away from home and to be surrounded by so many people who have the same passion and pride for my school as I do.
What you love most about cheering at GCU? Aside from having over 30 members of my team that I can call my family and the overwhelming amount of love we have for each other, I would say what I love most has to be cheering at men’s basketball games. The games are so exciting and they have such a unique atmosphere with an insane amount of school spirit. It’s really awesome to be in the center of such a driving force that brings such a great energy to the games.
When you are not cheering, you can be found? I can be found in the gym, searching for cool restaurants and coffee shops, watching old episodes of Friends, or spending time with family and close friends.
Who is the most influential person in your life? The most influential person in my life is my Dad. He is the most genuine and giving human being that I know and I’m very thankful for him.
Favorite Bible Verse or Quote: “Walk by faith, not by sight.” 2 Corinthians 5:7
What advice would you give to someone who dreams of becoming a GCU Cheerleader? My advice would be to never stop working hard for it and to never give up because if you are as lucky as I am to be a part of something so wonderful, it will change your life.
