- Came out of the bullpen for first six appearances of the season before developing into a top-of-the-rotation pitcher and starting his final eight games.
- Had the highest strikeout rate per nine innings in GCU's all-time history at 12.43 (min. 50 innings).
- Pitched the first six innings and was the winning pitcher of GCU's first D-I NCAA tournament victory, a 9-4 defeat at No. 13 national seed Arizona, allowing one earned run and striking out five.
- Went 5-1 on the season, GCU's second best winning percentage behind only fellow starter Isaac Lyon (6-1).
- Ranked among the WAC's tops in: strikeouts per nine innings (12.43, third), strikeouts (70, eighth), ERA (3.73, 12th) and opponent batting average (.245, 13th).
- Held WAC batters to .194 hitting, the second-best mark in the conference.
- Named WAC Pitcher of the Week on April 29 after an April 26 scoreless, one-hit outing with a career-high 10 strikeouts at Seattle U.
- Was a part of four combined shutouts, all coming in conference games: March 17 vs. Tarleton State, March 24 at UT Rio Grande Valley, April 19 vs. Utah Tech, April 26 at Seattle U.
- Made first career start against Arizona State on April 9, striking out six in four innings. Was a part of the weekend starting rotation for the remainder of the season and won his first four WAC starts.
- The hard-throwing lefty made 14 appearances as a freshman.
- In his career debut, combined with Connor Markl and Carson Ohl for a shutout of Texas State on March 5. Tossed the final inning and struck out two of the three batters he faced.
- Earned first career victory in GCU's WAC Tournament win over UT Rio Grande Valley on May 24, throwing 1 1/3 scoreless inning.
- Struck out a season-best six batters in 2 2/3 innings of work against New Mexico on March 14.
- Struck out five in his next outing, a three-inning, 53-pitch effort at Sacramento State on March 18.
