Opened the season with 11 straight scoreless outings spanning 14 1/3 innings, a stretch where he allowed just six hits.
Recorded first career save against CSU Bakersfield on May 3.
Pitched 2 2/3 late-game scoreless innings against top-seeded New Mexico State in the WAC Tournament to earn his first win of the year, an 8-3 GCU victory to send the Lopes to the championship round.
Topped out at 2 2/3 innings on two occasions, both scoreless outings against New Mexico State (April 7, May 24) with three strikeouts.

Worked 28 innings, second-most among GCU freshmen.

Struck out all three batters he faced against Penn State on March 8, part of a 19-strikeout performance as a team.
