Grand Canyon freshman forward Arnau Camaño was honored by the Mountain West for the second straight week, bringing home the conference's Freshman of the Week award.

Camaño scored against nationally ranked UC Santa Barbara in GCU's 2-1 loss Saturday night, moving his season goal tally to three. As of Monday, that count is tied for most of all players in the conference.
The Tona, Spain, native leads the squad with six points and has the team's best shot-on-goal percentage at .636, totaling 11 shots and seven shots on target. GCU ranks fifth in the nation in shots and eighth in shots on goal.
The Lopes will conclude its five-game homestand Wednesday versus former WAC foe California Baptist. Kickoff is set for 6 p.m. on MW+ and Arizona's Family Sports.
