The Grand Canyon women's golf team heads 14 miles west of campus to Litchfield Park for its biggest test to date, competing in the WAC Championship with a chance to advance to an NCAA Regional for the first time since 2018.
With a national ranking of No. 74, GCU enters the conference championship as the top-ranked team among the nine competing at Wigwam Golf Club. The Lopes finished top five in seven of 11 tournaments this season, including two team wins in Arizona this spring on its home course in February and at the Red Rocks Invitational in March in Sedona.
The tournament will play a round each day on Wigwam's par-72, 6,148-yard course on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. GCU's competitors (and national rankings) are Abilene Christian (97), California Baptist (113), Seattle U (116), Tarleton State (122), Utah Tech (165), UT Arlington (182), Utah Valley (210) and Southern Utah (218).

Brenna Preap. Every player but Vakasiuola, who has been injured, has started each tournament this spring. Rosholt's 73.2 scoring average and Dy's 73.7 lead GCU entering Monday's play.Â
GCU will tee off Monday at 8 a.m. in groupings with California Baptist and Abilene Christian.
