In six tournaments played between the fall and spring seasons, Grand Canyon will compete in its home state for the first time when it hosts he GCU Invitational at GCU Golf Course on Tuesday and Wednesday.

The tournament is the second this spring for the Lopes, who began play in Palm Desert, California, against a stacked field that included six top-50 teams in Clippd Scoreboard rankings. GCU traveled to fall tournaments in New Mexico, Washington, Colorado, Kansas, Hawaii and California.

Anci Dy and
Alyzzah Vakasiuola and sophomores
Brenna Preap and
Lena Tremouille. Preap recently won WAC Player of the Week honors Feb. 18.

Matilda Samervong will also compete as individual entries.

The first round begins Tuesday with an 8 a.m. shotgun start and will be immediately followed by the second round. Third-round play begins Wednesday at 8 a.m.
