Coming off of two straight sweeps, look to continue the streak

			Southern Utah Thunderbirds (7-8)

The Lopes hit the road for the first two of it's three game slate of road matches.

3 THINGS TO KNOW

GCU junior outside hitter Tatum Parrott's career average of 4.06 kills per set ranks fourth among active Division 1 players.
Senior middle blocker Trista Strasser entered the week 17th in the NCAA in total blocks.
Freshman setter Taylor Kubacak tied the second most aces in a three-set match this season with seven against California Baptist.

History Lesson

The Lopes are 15-8 against Utah Tech all-time with the last four being sweep victories for GCU.
GCU is 8-2 in the last 10 matches dating back to 1987 with the last three matches being sweeps for the Lopes.

WHAT'S NEXT?

The Lopes head to UT Arlington for a showdown on Oct. 17 before returning home to face Tarleton State on Oct. 19.
