The Grand Canyon women's golf team heads west to the beaches of Kapolei, O'ahu, Hawaii, to partake in the 27th annual Rainbow Wahine Invitational at the Kapolei Golf Club.

The tournament is the fifth for the Lopes, who have placed in the top 5 three times with another top 10 showing to its name. Hawaii is the fifth different state the Lopes will visit this fall, with previous stops in New Mexico, Washington, Colorado, and Kansas.

The Lopes are one of 15 teams competing in the three-day tournament running Monday through Wednesday. Among the field is fellow WAC school Utah Tech and host school Hawaii along with Austin Peay, Colorado State, Eastern Michigan, Gonzaga, Kansas State, Nevada, North Dakota State, Sacramento State, Santa Clara, UC Irvine, and Wyoming. Osaka Gakuin University, from Suita, Japan, will also be competing.

The top four in the Lopes' rotation stays the same – graduate
Calynne Rosholt, seniors
Anci Dy and
Alyzzah Vakasiuola, and sophomore
Brenna Preap – while sophomore
Jess Haines is the fifth and final starter. Rosholt leads the group with two top 10 placements this season with Dy having both a top 5 and top 10 showing.
