Gianna Gourley was honored Tuesday as the WAC Offensive Player of the Week for the second time this season.

Gourley led the Lopes in scoring with nine points on four goals and an assist in 5-0 and 8-0 home wins over UT Rio Grande Valley and Stephen F. Austin on Thursday and Sunday, respectively.

The GCU senior forward kept her up her scoring barrage and now sits at 18 goals and 41 points on the season. Both those marks are top three in the nation and Gourley reached the 50-career goal mark on Thursday against the Vaqueros. Now with 52 career goals, Gourley is the active Division I leader in goals scored and third in career points with 122.

It was an offensive showcase for the Lopes, as they outscored their two opponents by a combined 13-0 margin, thanks to a 56-5 advantage in shots. On the season, the Lopes are second in the conference in scoring with 42 goals to just 15 allowed in 17 matches. GCU became the first team in the WAC to reach 10 wins on the season.

The Lopes will wrap up the regular season at Abilene Christian and Tarleton on Thursday and Sunday, respectively.
