The Grand Canyon women's swimming and diving team is heading to Las Cruces, New Mexico, to take on Idaho and New Mexico State for a WAC showdown on Saturday.
The Lopes are coming off a significant break after a Dec. 10 home meet against Arizona Christian and Ottawa. In that meet, GCU dominated with numerous pool records and two wins.
The Lopes last faced New Mexico State in 2019 when they won 129.5–112.5. GCU is 3-0 all-time against the Aggies.
The last time GCU faced Idaho was in 2021, when the Lopes won 171-129. All-time, the Lopes are 3-1 against the Vandals with the loss coming in 2015.
The GCU women are currently second in the WAC.
The meet begins Saturday at NM State Swimming and Diving Complex with a start time of 11:30 a.m.
