The Grand Canyon women's volleyball team returns home to host Seattle U on Mar. 15-16 in the GCU Arena for their final home matches of the season. The Redhawks come into the match with a 2-8 record and are 2-8 in WAC play.

THREE THINGS TO KNOW

IN THE RANKINGS: In the Lopes' 10 matches, they have made a big impact in the national top 25 for three different categories and 27th in another. Setter Klaire Mitchell has an average of 11.73 assists per set, which puts her at 4th in the nation. Outside hitter Yeny Murillo ranks 9th in kills per set with 4.79. As a team, the Lopes defense is averaging 19.27 digs per set to rank 9th nationally. K.J. Adams comes in 27^th in digs per set with 5.27.
RECORD HOLDER: Mitchell delivered 54 assists on Mar.7^th against CBU to bring her two-year career tally to 1,436 assists, breaking the previous record of 1,427 that was set in three seasons by Michelle Steagall (2014-16).
FOUR SENIORS: The Lopes will honor their four seniors: K.J. Adams, Sarah Hagge, Kaira Moss, and Yeny Murillo at Monday's match.

SCOUTING

The Redhawks come into the eighth week of WAC play with a 2-8 record after splitting the series with UTRGV in Seattle. Their only other win came against Dixie State on Feb. 22^nd. Both of SeattleU's wins have been 3-0 sweeps at home.

Junior outside hitter Eve Kerschenbaum is the Redhawks biggest offensive threat as she has a team high of 90 kills with an average of 2.81 kills per set. Julia Queriroz a junior middle blocker is closely behind in kills with 84 on the season and a kil per set average of 2.55. Setter Ezgi Ozkan has totaled 315 assists with an average of nine per set in her sophomore season. Sophomore middle blocker, Johnasia Carr is a defensive threat at the net as she has a team high of blocks per set with 1.07. Tijana Milojevic, senior libero, has a total of 155 digs on the season with an average of 4.43 per set.

The Lopes travel to Orem, Utah to take on Utah Valley in their final matches of the regular season on Mar.22 and 23^rd.
