Men's tennis, beach volleyball student-athletes represent department for April
Grand Canyon student-athletes have their sights set on more than just winning on the competition field. With the help of the Academic and Student-Athlete Development staff, the Lopes are looking to provide leadership in the classroom and the community in addition to their roles on their respective teams.

| In the community Grego has served at Feed My Starving Children, Banner Thunderbird Medical Center and volunteers by coaching athletes on the ITF Wheelchari Tennis Tour overseas in Arlon. |
In the community Stansfield, in addition to being an honors student has volunteered at Tiger Mountain Foundation, Banner Thunderbird Medical Center, Feed My Starving Children and Phoenix Children's Hospital. |
| On the court The senior earned All-WAC Singles First Team honors in addition to All-WAC Doubles First Team with partner Freddie Grant. Grego won 20 singles matches this season and was a key part in the team's WAC Championship run. |
On the court Stansfield amassed a 22-8 record in 2019 in three different pairings. She shined on Court 3, recording wins over national powers such as No. 3 Florida State, No. 8 Florida International and No. 14 Stanford. |
