FINAL RESULTS
TUCSON, Ariz.  – The Grand Canyon women's golf team finished the Wildcat Invitational in 15th place on Tuesday at Sewailo Golf Club.
In a tournament where the average score was over 77, or 5 over par, the Lopes finished with a three-round total of 934 (70 over par) . GCU finished ahead of Iowa and Northern Arizona.
GCU was led by freshman Payton Fehringer with a 227 total, tying her for 22nd place. Junior Courtney Vogel finished with a 234, followed by sophomore Alexis Linam (237), sophomore Siripatsorn Patchana (242) and junior Carolina Sandstrom (247).
Arizona State won the event with an 886 (22 over par) score, followed by Oregon (29 over par), Arizona (30 over par), Iowa State (32 over par) and San Diego State (36 over par).
The individual title went to Tioia Carpinelli of San Diego State with a total of 215 (1 under par).
GCU is back in action on March 21-22 at the Hawkeye-El Tigre Invitational in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico.
