RESULTS
The Grand Canyon women's golf team finished the GCU Invitational in fourth place Sunday at GCU Championship Golf Course.
Toledo won the team championship with a total of 877, followed by Lamar (883), Southern Utah (891), GCU (893) and South Dakota State (896).
Junior
Courtney Vogel led the Lopes with a 14th-place finish (223). Junior
Carolina Sandstrom and freshman
Payton Fehringer tied for 19th place at 224 while freshman
Alexis Linam (226) finished 28th and freshman Kaylee DeJonge (232) landed in 57th.Â
Playing as an individual, sophomore
Siripatsorn Patchana was GCU's top finisher with a 12th-place finish and a 222 score.
Linam fired GCU's top final round with a 70, followed by Sandstrom's 73.
Medalist honors went to South Dakota State's Teresa Toscano, who won a playoff against Southern Utah's Pluem Youngyuan and Lamar's Elodie Chaplet.
GCU is back in action at the Gunrock Invitational on March 4-5 in Sacramento.
