Abby Burton earned WAC Offensive and Defensive Players of the Week honors, respectively, the conference announced Monday.
Cook and Burton helped the Lopes to win twice at home, where GCU (3-7) downed Portland State 4-1 on Thursday and Cal State Fullerton 2-1 on Sunday.
Hailing from Silverdale, Wash., Cook had eight points on the homestand with four goals. She tallied two of GCU's four goals in Thursday's win and the Lopes' only two goals on Sunday while tallying 11 shots in the two matches.
A native of Peoria, Ariz., Burton earns her second weekly awards after making 10 saves over the pair of games, including two on Thursday and eight against the Titans on Sunday. She played all 180 minutes of the matches and posted a save percentage of .833.
Cook, Burton and the Lopes head to Hawaii next for the Rainbow Wahine Shootout to close out nonconference play. GCU faces North Dakota State at 10 p.m. (Arizona time) on Thursday and Hawaii at 8 p.m. on Sunday.
