Hildebrandt, Rajaonah named Student-Athletes of the Month

Grand Canyon student-athletes have their sights set on more than just winning on the competition field. With the help of the Academic and Student-Athlete Development staff, the Lopes are looking to provide leadership in the classroom and the community in addition to their roles on their respective teams.

| In the community Hildebrandt has had an active role in the community ever since stepping foot on campus. The sophomore participates in team outreach activities in addition to serving at Feed My Starving Children in the valley. She has assisted in packing food and managing donations and participates in outreach events. |
In the community Rajaonah participates in community service and outreach events individually and with his team. Previously he has participated in Canyon Cares Christmas on GCU campus and has gone out into the community, helping at Feed My Starving Children. |
| On the track Hildebrandt was a key component in helping GCU track & field secure a third straight WAC Indoor title. The sophomore placed second in the women's mile with a 5.02:13 mark and set a new school record. Prior to the WAC Championships she earned a WAC athlete of the week honor after breaking a school record in the 300m at the Husky Classic. |
On the court Rajaonah became part of GCU tennis history in February. He and Lorenzo Fucile make up the first ranked doubles team in program history and currently ride a three-match win streak. The junior was named a doubles player of the week for Feb. 12-18 and showed his talent in GCU's only home match with a straight set victory over Western New Mexico. |
