Each week, a loaded schedule for the 21 GCU Division I athletic squads may leave a Lopes fan missing out on some of the highlights! With that in mind, GCULopes.com will give you the best fast reads each Tuesday, quick hits of what's coming up soon and the top nuggets you may have missed.

| After starting the season against some of the nation's best competition, the GCU baseball team began WAC play with a perfect three-game sweep of CSU Bakersfield. Game 1 went to the Lopes by a 3-2 score, Game 2 by a 7-4 tally, and Game 3 with an 8-3 advantage. Austin Bull also earned the WAC Hitter of the Week award after going 8-for-15 with two doubles and a triple. (More: 3/24 Game | 3/25 Game | 3/26 Game) |

| 2 | TENNIS CELEBRATES TWO SENIOR DAYS | Tennis |
| Both the men's and women's tennis teams honored four athletes each at Senior Days this week. On Thursday, the women recognized Tatum Prudhomme, Alexandra Petrzalkova, Susan Baklini, and Marie Deleval before defeating Idaho State 6-1. The men honored Adrian Legarreta, Philip Kuehnen, Mathieu Ounanian and Rafael Lira after sweeping Chicago State 7-0 on Sunday morning. | 3 | BEACH VOLLEYBALL RALLIES ON HOME COURT | Beach Volleyball |
| The GCU beach volleyball team improved to 6-1 at home after winning four of the five matches against Big 10 foe Nebraska on Thursday. The Lopes took down the Huskers in three, two-set finishes in front of their home crowd. This marks the team's fourth victory in a row as they currently sit at No. 13 on the NCAA AVCA Coaches Poll with an overall record of 12-3. (More: Game Recap) |

| The anticipation is high as the GCU Baseball and Softball teams travel to Tucson to face highly-ranked Wildcats teams on Wednesday. Arizona is a force to be reckoned with this season, with their baseball and softball teams ranked No. 13 and No. 5, respectively. At 25-9, the GCU Softball team is looking to bounce back from its recent loss to No. 6 Washington and the baseball team (9-13) hopes to continue its win streak after dominating CSU Bakersfield at home. The GCU track and field teams saw two school records fall on Day 1 of the Aztec Invitational. Nyomi Mosley crushed the school Hammer throw record with a toss of 53.27 meters and Sam Proctor took down the outdoor record in the 5000 meters with a time of 14:35.05. On Day 2, true freshman Yarithza Soto posted a 2:13.30 time to rank second in the WAC and break the GCU school record at the same time.
