PHOENIX – The Grand Canyon men's tennis are riding high after capping off a four-match homestand with a win over Air Force. GCU went 5-1 in singles to take down the Falcons 5-2 to make it three wins in a row. GCU is now 7-4 this season.
"Today was a great win because Air Force is always tough," head coach Greg Prudhomme said. "Whenever you face Air Force you know you are in for a fight and our guys competed the entire match."
The Lopes did not lose a first set all throughout singles and starting GCU off with a win was
Mathieu Rajaonah on court four. Rajaonah defeated Isaac Perez 6-3, 6-1, giving GCU its first win of the day and on court six
Justin Cvitanovic followed up with a win over Tadgh Collins. Cvitanovic blanked Collins 6-0 in the first set and clinched the match 6-4 in the second set for GCU's second straight victory.
Cvitanovic gave GCU the lead and the Lopes would never relinquish the lead as

The final win of the day for GCU came from
Alexander Roggenkamp on court three defeating AFA's Andrew Parks 6-2, 7-6 (8) to seal the 5-2 win over Air Force.
"We came out swinging in singles," Prudhomme said. "You can see the self-belief and momentum from our last match carry over today. Our team is continuing to improve and get better each and every time we step on the court."
