The Grand Canyon University baseball team will look to capture the Western Athletic Conference (WAC) regular-season title this weekend when they close out the 2015 season with a three-game set at Sacramento State. The Antelopes and Hornets will open their series with a 3 p.m. (Arizona Time) contest today in Sacramento.
GCU currently sits a game and half in front on Seattle U in the conference standings, while the Lopes hold a two-game lead on Bakersfield and two and a half game advantage on Sacramento State.
The scenarios for GCU to take home the WAC crown are as follows:
–GCU takes the title over Seattle U with two wins this weekend or one win and one Seattle U loss.
–GCU needs one win this weekend to secure the title over Bakersfield, as the Lopes would have a higher winning percentage than the 'Runners.
–GCU would win the crown over Sacramento State with one win this weekend in Sacramento.
This weekend's games can be found on radio at KXXT 1010 AM (also via the KXXT TuneIn Radio App), the home of Antelope men's basketball and baseball. Live stats and audio links will be available at
