GCU Adds Satellite Sports Medicine Facility for Soccer

Grand Canyon athletics is committed to providing student-athletes with all the tools they need to succeed on and off the field. To aid their physical well-being, the Sports Medicine department is staffed with highly trained professionals who have the ability to provide medical assistance before, during and after events.Â
To add to their ability in caring for student-athletes, the athletic department has made it goal to provide top-notch facilities for the Sports Medicine team, including the addition of their fourth satellite location within the state-of-the-art soccer stadium beginning in the spring of 2016. As an extension of the main sports medicine clinic within the Performance Center on campus, this facility will provide a necessary prep station for the Lopes' men's and women's soccer teams as they get ready for games.Â
The facility's design (seen below) includes ample space for taping tables, a whirl pool, equipment and more.Â
