GCU Staff Supports Pat's Run
4/15/2014 7:21:00 AM | Sports Medicine
Bright and early on April 26, 2014, the GCU Sports Medicine staff teamed with medical volunteers from all over the valley to assist in the care of more than 28,000 people who participated in the 10th annual Pat's Run at ASU.Â
Pat's Run raises money for the Pat Tillman Foundation to help carry forward Pat's legacy by giving military veterans and spouses who embody Pat's hardworking principles the educational tools and support to reach their fullest potential as leaders, no matter how they choose to serve.Â
The GCU Sports Medicine staff was positioned throughout the 4.2 mile race course and at the finish line to attend to abrasions, hydration, sore joints, and as well as any emergency situations. Grand Canyon Athletics supports several local foundations and charities in establishing goodwill throughout Phoenix.Â
