Kristen Preach, and
Shelby Taylor were selected to the PacWest Volleyball Weekly Top 10 Honor Roll, released Monday by the league media office in Phoenix.
They were selected for play during matches contested Oct. 24-30.
GCU went 3-0 for the week and are in second place in the Pacific West Conference and 10th in the West Region.
McBride totaled 16 blocks on four solos and 12 assists during the week, averaging 1.33 blocks per set, tied for third-best in the conference for the week.
Preach led the league in total assists with 118. She averaged 9.08 per set, sixth in the PacWest.
Taylor set a new GCU single-match record for block assists, totaling 12 against Western New Mexico Tuesday. She led the league in total blocks for the week with 19 and averaged 1.46 blocks per set, ranking second in the league.
GCU has won 11 straight matches, one away from tying the school record of 12. The ‘Lopes play host to Arizona Christian 6 p.m. Tuesday in Grand Canyon University Arena. It is the first Grand Canyon regular-season sporting event in the state-of-the art venue.
