Grand Canyon University senior middle hitter Stephanie McBride and junior setter Kristen Preach were selected to the PacWest Volleyball Weekly Top 10 Honor Roll for matches contested Oct. 17-23.
The honor was announced by the league office Monday.
The pair helped lead GCU to a 3-0 week and extend the team’s winning streak to eight matches.
McBride ranked fifth in the league in hitting with a .373 percentage with 26 kills, four errors in 59 attempts. She ranked third in block average (1.44) with 13 blocks, 11 assists and two solos.
Preach ranked third in hitting for the week with a .387 average. She had 15 kills and three errors in 31 attempts. She ranked fourth in assists per set for the week (11.78) with 106 in nine sets.
