Blomenkamp Named To Top 10 List

Grand Canyon University senior right side hitter Brooke Blomenkamp was named to the PacWest Volleyball Weekly Top 10 Honor Roll for matches played Oct. 3-9.
In GCU's lone contest, a 3-0 victory over Dominican, Blomenkamp had 13 kills, a .407 hitting percentage, 12 digs, two block assists and two service aces. She ranked third in the PacWest for kills per set (4.33) and first in points per set (5.33).
Blomenkamp's hitting average ranked third in the conference.
GCU is in the midst of a five-match northern California road trip. The 'Lopes -- currently 1-0 on the trip -- take on Academy of Art in San Francisco Tuesday at 7 p.m. Fans can follow the match by clicking on the host school's live stat link, here.
GCU is 9-6 overall and 3-4 in the Pacific West Conference, currently in a tie for fifth place with California Baptist. Academy of Art is 5-11 overall and 2-4 in the PacWest.
