Giraldi Named ITA Rookie of the Year for West Region

GCU's No. 1 singles player, Patrice Giraldi, won the ITA Rookie of the Year award for the West Region.
Patrice is ranked No. 9 in the region in singles and No. 6 in the doubles. He posted a winning record at the No. 1 position with two wins over the No. 5 player in the region and a win over the No. 44-ranked player in the nation.
This is the first ITA award in more than 20 years for the men's team at GCU and more than 10 years for the combined men's and women's teams. This is a real honor for Patrice, as the award was voted on by the other coaches in the West Region.
