Women's Tennis Off to Great Start in Bay Area

The GCU women's tennis team is off to a great start on its road trip to the bay area. It defeated new conference member Domincan University by a score of 8-1.
The doubles did a great job setting the tone for the day. Mandy Prudhomme and Ali Brackey got the first point on the board at No. 3 doubles with Kaila Knopf and Stefanie Griffin winning five straight games from 3-4 down to win, 8-4. For the second time this season, the Lady 'Lopes were able to sweep the singles matches. Stefanie Griffin had one of her best matches of the season, winning 6-1, 6-1 at the No. 3 singles spot.
