Grand Canyon looks to continue its winning streak at home and in Pacific West Conference play this weekend.
The 'Lopes (7-10, 3-3) welcome Chaminade (3-7, 0-3) for matches Friday and Saturday. Both are slated for first serve at 6 p.m.
GCU has won three straight in conference play and 11 straight at Antelope Gym, including all five matches this season and the final six from 2009.
The three-game winning streak is the longest of any conference team and the 'Lopes are just two games behind first-place Academy of Art (5-1) with 10 league contests remaining.
GCU defeated Chaminade twice last season and have won three of the last four meetings. The only loss during the stretch was a 3-2 contest at Antelope Gym in 2008.
The matches against the Silverswords are the third and fourth contests of a six-match homestand. After this weekend, GCU welcomes Hawai'i Pacific Monday and Tuesday.
Admission is free to all home volleyball matches and all home contests on the GCU campus. At the gate, donations will be taken and proceeds will go to the Make a Wish Foundation.
Fans unable to attend the matches can watch live action on the America One Broadband Broadcasting Network. A link to the network is available on the GCULopes.com home and women's volleyball page calendar and the women's volleyball schedule page.
