GCU bowlers receive votes in poll

Grand Canyon University women's bowling team received honorable mention votes in the National Tenpins Coaches Association poll.
GCU will compete for the first time in January at No. 5 Arkansas State University's Invitational Jan. 16-18. It will mark the first NCAA competition for the Antelopes.
University of Maryland Eastern Shore is ranked No. 1 in the poll with 10 first place votes and 590 points. Vanderbilt is No. 2 with five votes and 581 points. Nebraska is third with four votes and 532 points.
