A win was nice, being ambassador's of the game of baseball was even better.
At Brazell Stadium Wednesday, Grand Canyon University played host to Keio University out of Tokyo, Japan, making its first stop on a USA Tour.
Behind a five-run seventh-inning, the Lopes won the exhibition game 11-7.
"We were baseball ambassadors tonight," said GCU head coach Dave Stapleton. "That's what this was about."
