Amanda Beers is a proud GCU alumna who returned to Lope Country in February 2025. She currently serves as the athletic trainer for Grand Canyon University’s softball and dance programs.
Beers previously supported GCU Sports Medicine as a Graduate Assistant, Assistant Athletic Trainer, and Head Athletic Trainer for Club Sports, overseeing the health and performance of more than 2,000 student-athletes across 30 teams.
Her career has spanned multiple levels, including professional athletics, but she remains especially passionate about advancing the care of female athletes and elevating recognition for spirit program athletes. She is currently in the process of publishing a book on this important topic.

Beers earned both her Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training and her Master of Business Administration from Grand Canyon University.
