Future Career Goals: I hope to be a forensic pathologist one day and perform autopsies for a living.
Cheerleading Experience: This is my ninth year doing cheer overall and my second year here at GCU.
High School Activities and Awards: Sahuarita varsity cheer all four years and was captain my senior year. Drama Club freshman through junior year and was the historian my sophomore and junior year. I was a part of National Honor Society and also received many students of the month awards throughout my four years.
College Activities and Awards: This is my second year on the GCU Cheer team and I have done multiple Serve the City events and volunteered with Canyon Kids my freshman year.
Why did you choose to attend Grand Canyon University? I chose to come to GCU because it wasn’t as big as the other in-state universities. I liked that I was not going to be just another number attending this school.
What do you like most about being a GCU Cheerleader? I have never been pushed so hard at practices before and I love it. Being a part of a team that is full of talented and hardworking individuals is inspiring and helps me go beyond my own expectations of what I can do.
What is your most memorable moment being a GCU Cheerleader? This year one of my most memorable moments was walking into that new beautiful arena and knowing we get to perform there.
What are your hobbies and interest? I love to sing all day, every day. I also enjoy just relaxing during free time and hanging out with friends and family.
What is your favorite movie? Hands down THE LION KING!

Provide a final statement: As co-captain, I hope that this year we as a team can help spread school spirit and make it bigger than ever. I am excited for this eventful year and hope to see everyone being crazy loud and proud in the student section of the arena. GO ‘LOPES!
