- Father, So, is a veteran outfielder of eight MLB seasons with the Cardinals, Phillies and Cubs. He appeared in 672 games from 2002 to 2009, amassing 382 hits and 163 RBIs. MLB debut came on June 10, 2002, at age 32. Began professional career in Japan from 1992 to 2001 and concluded pro career back in Japan from 2010 to 2011. Appeared in 1,264 career games in Japan, all for the Orix Buffaloes, and spent time as a teammate of Ichiro Suzuki. He is the first Japanese player to win two World Series with different teams – Cardinals in 2006 and Phillies in 2008.
