Grand Canyon heads on the road for one final time in the regular season and takes on Wyoming in Laramie Tuesday evening at 5 p.m. MST.Â

Coming off a 13 point victory in their regular season home finale Saturday, the Lopes look to extend their winning streak to a season-best four games with its final road test of the season at Wyoming.Â
In the past three wins, GCU has held its opponents to 52 points or less, averaging 45 points allowed since Feb. 21. The defense has shined in those games, forcing 60 turnovers to rank third in the league with just over 17 forced TO's a game.
The Lopes rank as one of the best free throw shooting teams in the nation and are coming off a game where it made 13 of 14 attempts. They rank 48th in the nation and second in the MW in FT shooting at 75.9%.
Sophomore Chloe Mann, who scored nine points and added six boards against San Jose State, is second in the conference in free throw shooting (84.5%).
GCU has made seven or more 3 pointers in four of its past six games, including 10 against the Spartans, tied second most in a game this season. Freshman Diamond Wright sunk 4 of 6 attempts from deep and scored a career best 18 points.Â
The Lopes grabbed 45 rebounds versus the Spartans, the eighth game where it has notched 41 or more boards in a game this season. GCU is 7-1 is such contests.Â
Leading the Lopes in rebounding is junior Julianna LaMendola, who has pulled down 129 in MW play. She is averaging 12.9 points, 6.8 rebounds and 1.9 assists against conferece foes this season.Â

GCU faces Wyoming in Laramie for the first time in program history in the regular season finale Tuesday evening.
The Lopes are locked into the sixth seed for the MW Championship in Las Vegas, while Wyoming is currently ninth, one game back of Air Force and one game ahead of Nevada.Â
A win for GCU would be its fourth in a row, a season high.Â
SCOUTING WYOMING
Wyoming enters the final game of the regular season 9-19 overall and 6-13 in conference play. It holds a 7-6 record at home compared to a 2-13 showing on the road.Â
Jane Rumpf recently took home Mountain West Freshman of the Week honors and is second in the conference in blocks (38) and blocks per game (1.36).
Malene Pedersen is one of the top scorers in the league, totaling 450 points to rank third in total points. Her 16.7 ppg is second, while also ranking fourth in field goal percentage (44.1).
Wyoming averages just over 21 three pointers per game, with Rumpf and Pedersen third and fourth in most attempts in the MW this season.Â
The Cowgirls average 12.6 fouls per game, seventh lowest in the entire nation.Â
Wyoming limits offensive rebounds for opposing teams by averaging 26.9 defensive rebounds per game, fourth most in the conference.Â
The Cowgirls are 1-6 since facing GCU January 31.

GCU has locked in the No. 6 seed in the Mountain West Championship in Las Vegas. Game one will be Saturday, March 7 against the TBD No. 11 seed.
