Grand Canyon returns home after staying undefeated with eight consecutive wins away from GCU Softball Stadium, hosting No. 21 Oklahoma State on Tuesday night and San José State over the weekend.

5 THINGS TO KNOW

The Lopes are unanimously ranked in the Top 25 across major softball polls (No. 22 in ESPN/USA Softball, No. 18 in Softball America, No. 17 in NFCA and No. 18 in D1Softball). They have the best record in the nation.
Grand Canyon is the only undefeated team in the country after Tennessee and Alabama took their first losses last weekend.
Sophomore first baseman Jada Cooper took home Mountain West Player of the Week for Week 6 after hitting a home run and driving in five runs behind a .444 average on the weekend. Cooper leads the team in home runs (seven), RBIs (29) and on-base percentage (.510).
Freshman second baseman Raegan Holtorf won MW Freshman of the Week for Week 6 after also hitting .444 at New Mexico. She earned a hit, run and RBI in each of the series' three games. Holtorf leads the team in hits alongside senior leadoff hitter Sydney McCray at 31.
Grand Canyon has won 31 straight games at GCU Softball Stadium, winning 49 of its last 51 games dating back to last season.

SCOUTING OKLAHOMA STATE

Oklahoma State is ranked a spot ahead of Grand Canyon at No. 21, coming off a series loss at Arizona State. The Cowgirls have ranked wins over Nebraska, UCLA, Texas A&M and Georgia this season.
The Cowgirls are hitting .292 with a 3.13 ERA.
Grand Canyon and Oklahoma State have never played.

SCOUTING SAN JOSÉ STATE

GCU is 2-1 all-time against San José State, losing the last matchup at home in head coach Shanon Hays' first year at GCU.
The Spartans are hitting .275 with a team ERA of 4.28.
San José State is coming off a home series win against UNLV to open Mountain West play.

LAST TIME OUT

GCU swept New Mexico on the road in the Lopes program's first Mountain West series, moving GCU to 30-0 on the season.
The Lopes pitching staff, which holds the third-best ERA in the country, just allowed three runs in the series.
