Grand Canyon women's basketball returns to the road for two straight contests to begin the new year, starting Saturday at Boise State. Tipoff is set for 2 p.m. (Phoenix time) on the Mountain West Network.

- GCU sophomore Chloe Mann is the team leader in points at 14.5 per game, totaling double digits in 10 of 13 contests. Mann has been exceptional from the free throw line, shooting 89% (50 of 56). Her free throw percentage ranks 21st in the nation and leads all Mountain West players.
- Junior guard Julianna LaMendola is the team's leading rebounder at 6.3 boards per game. LaMendola is pulling down 9.0 rebounds per game against MW competition, with 27 in the past three games. She posted back-to-back 10-rebound showings vs. UNLV and San José State and has eight games with six or more rebounds.
- The Lopes tallied 50 rebounds at San José State on Dec. 28, the second game with 50-plus rebounds this season. It is the first time since the 2015-16 campaign that the team has grabbed 50 or more rebounds in two games of a season.
- Since the start of Mountain West play Dec. 17, Lopes freshman Ines Zounia has averaged 9.0 points, 3.0 rebounds, 1.7 assists and 1.0 blocks per game in three outings. Zounia won MW Freshman of the Week Dec. 22 and is shooting 41% from 3-point range in that span.
- Senior forward Anisa Jeffries enters Saturday sixth in the conference with 1.9 steals per game. She has a team-high 25 steals this season with six multi-steal games.
- GCU has 142 offensive boards this season, 29 more than their opponents combined. Graduate Favor Ayodele leads the team with 28 offensive boards.
- The Lopes average 24.2 points off the bench each game, second most in the Mountain West.
THIS GAME
- GCU begins the new calendar year at Boise State for its second road conference game of the season.
- The Lopes are 1-0 in MW contests on the road, last defeating San José State on Dec. 28 in California.
- The trip to Boise is the first for the program and second-ever meeting between the Broncos and Lopes. The last outing was March 2014 in the WBI, the first-ever postseason game for the Lopes as a Division I program.
SCOUTING BOISE STATE
- Boise State enters the 2026 calendar year 10-4 overall with a 1-2 conference record. The Broncos are 8-0 at home, winning by double digits in six of the eight contests.
- The Broncos are fourth in the country in 3-point percentage, shooting 39.2% from beyond the arc. Natalie Pasco is 11th nationally in 3-point percentage (48.1%) and has knocked down 39 treys, 22nd most in the nation.
- Boise State dishes out 16.7 assists per game, ranking first in the Mountain West and 43rd nationally. It dished out 20 last outing vs. Nevada, with Mya Hansen leading the team at 69 assists, most in the MW.
- Tatum Thompson averages 14.9 points per outing, fourth best in the conference and one spot higher than Lopes guard Chloe Mann. Thompson is second in the league with 209 points this season.
- Two of the conference's best free throw shooters will go head to head, with Mann leading the MW in free throw percentage (89.3%) while Thompson comes in with a league-most 50 makes, tied with Mann.

- GCU finishes its two-game road stand at San Diego State on Wednesday evening.
- The Lopes return home the following Saturday, Jan.10, and host Fresno State at Global Credit Union Arena.
