- GCU seeks its second straight win for the first time this season, coming off a 71-64 victory over Fresno State at home last Saturday.
- In that win over the Bulldogs, the Lopes shot 55% from three (10-18) and 84% from the free throw line (11-13). It also dished out 18 assists, tied for second most in a game this season, and scored 71 points, improving to 4-2 in games when they score 70+ points.
- The Lopes have been shooting excellent from the free throw line this season, ranking first in the conference at 76%. Six players are shooting 70% or better with at least 15 attempts, while Chloe Mann and Anisa Jeffries are shooting 84-for-95 combined (88%).
- Three players are averaging double figures in Mountain West play, led by junior Julianna LaMendola at 11.8 ppg. LaMendola has three double figure scoring games against league foes, with 40 rebounds in six games (6.7 rpg).
- Sophomore Chloe Mann leads the team with 228 points (14.2 ppg) this season. Mann is 25th in the nation in free throw percentage (88.4%) with a 36.7% clip from beyond the arc. Mann is coming off a seven assist performance vs. Fresno State, tying a career high as she increased her team lead to 44 on the season.
- Senior Anisa Jeffries enters Wednesday with a four game double digit scoring streak. Over her last four games, Jeffries has scored 48 points and totaled 27 rebounds, nine steals, and nine assists.
- GCU is 2-1 since junior Kaitlyn Elsholz has been in the starting lineup. Elsholz is averaging 5.7 points and 2.3 boards per game since becoming a starter.
- A win Wednesday would move GCU to 4-3 in league play. Two teams currently sit tied for third at 4-2. The top four teams at the end of the regular season standings earn a 1st round by in the MW Championship.

- Coming off its first MW victory at home Saturday over Fresno State, GCU stays home and hosts Nevada Wednesday evening on Arizona's Family Sports and MW Network.
- GCU is one of three teams tied for fifth place in the conference standings at 3-3, joining Nevada and Boise State, who the Lopes defeated earlier this season.
- Nevada enters the Wednesday 1-4 in road games this season.

- Nevada enters Phoenix 7-9 overall and 3-3 in MW play, one of three teams tied for fifth in the league standings (GCU, Boise State).
- The Wolfpack have won three in a row dating back to Jan. 3 and are coming off their first road victory of the season over New Mexico Saturday, Jan. 10.
- They are 0-1 against common non conference opponents, losing to Saint Mary's 56-50 Nov. 16 in Moraga.
- Nevada is holding teams to 58.2 points per game, second only behind Colorado State in the conference. It has held teams to 61 points or less in five of its last six outings.
- That dwells with its three point percentage defense, which ranks 53rd nationally and number one in the MW at 27 percent.
- Skylar Durley leads the team in points (10.6) and rebounds (5.5) while dishing out 35 assists. Her efforts last week in two wins earned her Mountain West Freshman of the Week honors.
- Five different Wolfpack players have 50+ rebounds on the season as the team ranks second in the MW in rebound margin (3.2).
