As the season draws closer to the WAC Championship in Payson, Arizona, Grand Canyon heads 50 miles south to Maricopa to compete in the Cowboy Classic on Monday and Tuesday.
With the GCU season's largest field of 21 teams, the Lopes will play at Ak-Chin Southern Dunes Golf Club for the second time this season after opening the 2024 fall slate with a second-place showing in the Southern Dunes Invitational.
Four tournament teams are ranked in the Clippd Scoreboard top 50 with nine in the top 70. GCU enters as No. 50, the fourth-highest participat after No. 27 Long Beach State, No. 35 San Diego and No. 42 USC.

The Lopes' starting five features four players who earned a top-10 finish in Oregon last week, including graduate
Tommaso Zorzetto, senior
Kiko Coelho, and freshmen
Matthew Diehl and
Nixon Lauritzen. Sophomore
Gavin O'Neill returns to the starting lineup.
