The Grand Canyon men's volleyball team remains at home for the third straight weekend to host No. 6 BYU Friday and Saturday at Global Credit Union Arena after winning it's last two matches against Concordia.

Both matches will be streamed live on B1G+.

3 THINGS TO KNOW

DUNCANSON: Senior middle blocker Cole Duncanson recorded five service aces in the 3-0 win over CUI Friday, which ties for fifth in GCU history for single-match service aces.
HISTORY: The Lopes are 8-8 all-time against BYU with wins in the last six matches. GCU has swept in three of the last four.
REUNITED: Both first-year Lopes outside hitters have ties to the BYU squad. Transfer Trent Moser is facing his former team for the first time while Cole Ottmar is playing against former Hawaii teammate Keoni Thiim.

SCOUTING

The Cougars swept Harvard in the first of a two-match series (Mar. 15) with Luke Benson hitting .500 with match-highs of nine kills and two aces. BYU then won 3-1 combining for 53 kills on the evening and hitting a .252 hitting percentage, while holding Harvard to a .150 clip. BYU is 6-2 on the road while GCU is 9-1 at home.

WHAT'S NEXT?

The Lopes will head to USC to face the Trojans Friday (Mar. 28) and Saturday (March 29). The last time GCU played at the Galen Center, the GCU squad won the MPSF Tournament.
