Arizona’s Family to televise 26 GCU basketball games
With both programs returning from NCAA Tournament seasons, Grand Canyon's men's and women's basketball games will be more accessible than ever with the release of the local TV broadcast schedule for the 2025-26 season.Â
The local TV schedule announcement comes on the heels of exciting national broadcast selections through the Mountain West's TV partners. Thirteen men's basketball games were selected for national broadcasts on FOX, FS1 and CBS Sports Network. On Wednesday, the MW unveiled its women's basketball national selections with GCU featured in two nationally televised regular-season games for the first time ever.Â
In the first year of a partnership between GCU and Arizona's Family, the network is "The Official Home of GCU Athletics" and has been airing GCU volleyball and soccer this fall.Â
GCU is the first university to join a growing live sports lineup on Arizona's Family that includes the Phoenix Suns, Phoenix Mercury, Arizona Cardinals, Phoenix Rising and Arizona Interscholastic Association.Â
All 13 men's basketball games not televised nationally will air live on either 3TV or Arizona's Family Sports Network, beginning with an Oct. 25 game against USC at 6:30 p.m.Â
Thirteen of GCU's 14 women's basketball home games will be televised live on Arizona's Family, beginning with the Nov. 8 home opener against Idaho State. The move marks a monumental jump in television exposure for the program under first-year head coach Winston Gandy.Â
Arizona's Family consists of three channels: KTVK (3TV), KPHO (CBS 5) and KPHE (Arizona's Family Sports). All three of Arizona's Family's linear channels are available free over-the-air in Phoenix, while also holding wide-ranging carriage on Cox, Dish, DIRECTV, FuboTV and more. 3TV and CBS 5 are premier, longtime anchors in local Phoenix television. The third channel, Arizona Family's Sports, launched in 2023 and has statewide carriage from Phoenix (Ch. 44) to Flagstaff (Ch. 32) to Tucson (Ch. 13.3) to Yuma (Ch. 27) and beyond to reach nearly 2.8 million households.Â

All games televised on Arizona's Family will also stream for free on the Mountain West Network – a free mobile and connected TV app available on Apple, Google Play, Apple TV, Amazon Fire, Roku and Android TV – and TheMW.com.Â
Broadcast schedules for spring sports will be announced following the release of those schedules. Additionally, several fall sports competitions remain on the broadcast schedule.
