The Grand Canyon women's swimming and diving team received two WAC postseason individual honors.

GCU senior
Abigail Erickson won WAC Women's Diver of the Year. Erickson placed first in the platform diving competition at the WAC Championships with 249 points. The Highlands Ranch, Colorado, native also earned a silver medal in the 3-meter diving event with 285.4 points.
Erickson, who transferred to GCU from Louisville after her sophomore year, also won the platform event at the Miami Invitational earlier this season.

Lopes sophomore
Maria Brunlehner won the WAC Women's Co-Swimmer of the Year honor, adding to her plethora of recent success.
At the WAC Championships, Brunlehner won six gold medals in three individual events and three relays. She took first in the 200-meter individual medley, 100 breaststroke and 100 freestyle. In relays, the Kenyan native also contributed to first-place finishes with the 800 freestyle, 200 freestyle relay and 400 freestyle relays.
Erickson will compete next week in NCAA Zone Diving Championships while Brunlehner will compete at the College Swimming Coaches Association of America's National Invitational Championship in Elkhart, Indiana.
