The Grand Canyon men's golf team heads west to Stockton, California, to partake in the three-day Visit Stockton Invitational at The Reserve at Spanos Park.
Â
GCU looks to defend its title in the annual tournament as it placed first over 15 other teams last October. The Lopes shot 22 under par at the Stockton Golf and Country Club, one of two team victories over the course of the 2022-23 season.

The tournament field includes 17 teams, with University of Pacific as the host school. GCU joins California Baptist, Seattle U, Utah Tech and Utah Valley in WAC schools competing over the course of three days. The Reserve at Spanos Park will play at 7,278 yards with a par-71 card.
Â
It is the third tournament of the season for GCU, who took home third place in the Wildcat Invitational in mid-September. It recently placed 10th out of 17 schools in the Mark Simpson Invitational Oct. 3.
