SANTA CLARA, Calif. — The Grand Canyon cross country team closed out the regular season on Saturday, competing in Santa Clara's Bronco Invitational at Baylands Regional Park.
Lopes sophomore
Cannon Angotti was the top finisher for the men while the women had sophomore
Kaitlyn Kaye finish in front.
On the men's side, the Lopes finished 11th out of 17 participating teams and the women finished 11th out of 21 teams.
Angotti finished with a time of 24 minutes, 3.2 seconds to finish 18th in a field of 150 competitors. Angotti shaved over 10 seconds off of his previous personal record set at UC Riverside in September.
Kaye, a sophomore, finished with a time of 21:23.8 to finish 46th out of 187 finishers. Sophomore
Hana Hall set a personal record at 21:29.7.
