After clinching its first WAC win on the road, Grand Canyon will host UT Arlington in its second conference match of the season.
THREE THINGS TO KNOW

- GCU starts conference play at 1-0 for the third time in four seasons.
- GCU and UT Arlington have only met once, a 2018 Lopes loss (1-3). Graduate middle blocker Annabelle Kubinski is the only remaining GCU player from that match.
SCOUTING UT ARLINGTON
- The Mavericks are on a six-game winning streak, with a 2-2 neutral record, a 1-1 away record and a 5-1 home record this season.
- Sophomore outside hitter Brianna Ford leads the team offensively with 3.18 kills per set, while junior defensive specialist/libero Alli Wells holds the top slot in digs per set this season (4.18) and freshman setter Sophie Skinner is averaging 7.32 assists per set.
- As a team, the Mavericks average 11.7 kills per set, 10.5 assists per set, 1.7 aces per set, 14.7 digs per set and 2.6 blocks per set.
LAST TIME OUT
GCU at Seattle U
