The Grand Canyon softball team is set to play its final road game of the fall season when the Lopes travel to Tempe for a rematch with Arizona State on Wednesday night.
Wednesday's 6 p.m. first pitch at Farrington Softball Stadium will once again feature a clash of the reigning WAC and Pac-12 champions from last spring. The game will be streamed
on Pac-12.com.
GCU and Arizona State last met on Oct. 5 at GCU Softball Stadium, where the Lopes homered three times in a 7-5 victory.  Lopes junior infielder
CC Wong homered twice in the victory.
The long ball has been a theme of GCU's fall schedule. The Lopes hit seven more home runs over
a two-game weekend in Las Vegas against Long Beach State and UNLV.
Arizona State is playing its final opponent of the fall before ending its slate with an intrasquad scrimmage on Nov. 10.
The Lopes will finish their fall slate next Wednesday when they host Central Arizona at 6 p.m. at GCU Softball Stadium.
