The WAC Basketball Tournaments will limit attendance for next week's event in Las Vegas to a pass list of 125 guests per team for that team's games only.
The Grand Canyon men's and women's basketball teams will participate in the March 10-13 tournaments, which will be played at Orleans Arena for the 11th consecutive year.

In consideration of COVID-19 protocols, WAC administrators consulted with arena personnel and Las Vegas and Nevada health authorities to develop the WAC Tournament's fan policy that was announced Tuesday.
"Institutions will be allowed up to 125 passes per participating team for their game only and maintain the authority and responsibility to distribute at their discretion," the WAC release said. "The Orleans Arena will be cleared after each game and attendees for the following game will be seated on the opposite side of the court to allow arena staff to properly clean and disinfect sections. All seating will be socially distanced, and the wearing face coverings will be strictly enforced. There will be no public sale of tickets."
The WAC also announced that it will increase tournament coverage on the WAC Digital Network and WAC social media platforms. All games will be shown on ESPN digital programs with the March 13 men's championship game being broadcast on ESPNU.
Seeding for the GCU men's and women's basketball teams will be determined after regular-season play concludes this week.
The Lopes men have secured a first-round bye to the March 12 semifinals. This weekend's series against Utah Valley will play a large part in determining which team is the top seed. The GCU women have guaranteed a top-three seed. The Lopes are idle this week, but will be playing in a first-round tournament game Wednesday at Orleans Arena.
