Jaden Henley met the hype of Preseason All-Mountain West with a season that added all-district honors to his selection for All-Mountain West first team.

Henley, a 6-foot-7 guard from Ontario, California, was picked to the second team for the National Association of Basketball Coaches' Mountain District, which encompasses 11 states — Arizona, Colorado, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, Oklahoma, South Dakota, Utah and Wyoming. NABC-member coaches vote for the awards.
For a 20-win GCU team that tied for third in the Mountain West, Henley posted career-high averages of 17.7 points, 5.7 rebounds, 2.9 assists and 1.6 steals to finish third in the Mountain West for scoring and fifth for steals. He also ranked seventh in the Mountain West for defensive rebounds per game (5.0) and eighth for field goal percentage (46.6%).
Only three other players in the nation met Henley's averages for points, rebounds, assists and steals this season — Texas' Dailyn Swain, Arkansas-Pine Bluff's Quion Williams an Sacramento State's Prophet Johnson.
Henley's scoring total and average rank fourth in GCU's Division I era and his 51 steals are the fifth most in the D-I era.
After transferring to GCU for his final season, Henley posted the first four double-doubles of his career and his four highest-scoring games as a Lope. He tallied 22 of his career's top 32 scoring games with GCU, where he also set his career high for rebounds (13), assists (eight) and steals (six).
