Teagan DeFalco earned her third WAC Defensive Player of the Week award this season for her performances against Utah Valley and Dixie State last week.
DeFalco, from Long Beach, California, kept the ball off the floor and totaled 47 digs to average 6.71 per set in the Lopes' two wins. She also proved efficient offensively, recording six assists and tallying five aces, a WAC high for the week. DeFalco also served her 100th career ace and then turned around and delivered No. 101 on the next serve.
GCU closes out the regular season on Thursday at 6 p.m. in GCU Arena, where it will face Chicago State for Senior Night honoring DeFalco and teammate
Kayla Matthews.
